Nanbudo World champions in self defence from Croatian nanbudo federation – Darko Laktasic, Edin Mahmuljin and Kresimir Major were invited by President of FADAM, M. Dominique Saatenang to take part at 1st FADAM festival in Yaounde, Douala and Limbe towns in Cameroon. In spite of some difficulties and misunderstanding with the national nanbudo federation in Cameroon, whose members by the way also succesfully participated in the Festival, the spirit of sport and unity prevailed, and world champions INF team from Croatia took part in FADAM, and fully justifed its participation. Croatian team was pronounced second best on all three performances, just after the fenomenal Shaolin monks team, who came directly from China. Every „slowmo“ movement of INF team was broken by strong aplause from the public, and the fast part of demonstration triggered total euforia and ovations from the public in Yaounde, Douala and Limbe. After all three shows, all other performers were congratulating the INF team for their excellence in performing, and wanted to take photos together. So in competition with karate, kempo, taekwondo, jiu jitsu, tai chi, krav maga, self defense and many wushu/kung fu schools from which the best were the Shaolin monks, INF definitely showed why nanbudo stays as one of the most atrractive martial art sports. We thank the Croatian athletes for their performance and contribution to promotion of the highest quality nanbudo sport in Africa. We are sure that (with the help of Cameroonian nanbudo federation and their excellent sportists), nanbudo will again take the place of the leading African martial art sport, like it was for example in the year 1996 with world champions like Tamleu, Nkamhoua, Loubou and Fomenou, at Paris nanbudo world championship.
