In cooperation with WUKF federation, World Championship in traditional kata took place in Monterrey; Mexico, from 8-12. July. More than 700 athletes from 31 countries participated, and showed fantastic performances.
Most numerous and most succesful were representatives of the host country who won most medals. Next to host athletes, were athletes from US, England and Slovakia. We are looking forward to the continuation of the World Championship – this time in combat disciplines and modern forms – which will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, October 4-6. this year.
